What's New in FeedBro: October 2026

A round-up of what arrived in FeedBro this month.

Alerts and the bell

Choose which feeds notify you the moment a new article appears, and find every notification again in the bell. How alerts and the bell work.

Listen

Press Listen in the reader and FeedBro reads the article aloud with your device's own voices, on the web and in the Android app. All about Listen.

Blocked feeds, read from your own device

When a site blocks FeedBro's servers, the app or extension can fetch just your failing feeds from your own connection. One switch in Settings turns it off. What it does and does not touch.

An easier way to add your own feed

The add screen now starts with a box for your own address: a website, an RSS link, YouTube or Instagram. If a page has no feed, FeedBro offers to watch the page instead, within your plan's limits.

Clearer messages

  • An empty feed now says why: the site is not reachable yet, or its publisher's feed has no posts.
  • In the app's Fix this feed, a refused save tells you what to do next.
  • The browser extension lets you pick from several feeds and preview one before you follow it.
