Here is a simple promise: the FeedBro app for Android has no ads. Not on the Coffee Club, and not on the Free plan either. Open it, read, and that is all there is to it.
Why the website has ads and the app doesn't
FeedBro is free to use, and keeping it free costs real money: servers, fetching pages for sites that block ordinary visitors, and the time it takes to run it. On feedbro.com, readers on the Free plan see a few small, clearly labelled ads among their articles. That is how the Free plan stays free. Coffee Club members never see them.
The app is different. It is the place where you read every day, so we keep it clean: no ads, whichever plan you are on.
What you get in the app
- Your whole reader. The same feeds, collections, saved articles and rules as on the website and in the browser extension, signed in to the same account.
- Notifications when a rule matches. Give a rule the Push notification action and your phone tells you the moment a matching article arrives.
- Reading with no connection. Your latest, saved and read-later articles are kept on the phone, so they open on a plane or in a tunnel.
- Light or dark. It follows your phone's dark mode, or you can choose light, dark or sepia.
- Feeds servers can't reach. Some sites block our servers; your phone can often get through, so the app can fetch those few feeds for you.
Get it in a minute
